Real Reviews

Genuine reviews from real people who have recently visited The Village.

Good for families to come with a picnic or BBQ lunch, maybe just not when it's a really hot day (even hotter in Windsor area). The school reenactment was interesting. Food available and not marked up prices. They aren't good at catering for food intolerance though (no non-dairy options for beverages). All run by volunteers so open on Sundays and public holidays and other selected days only.

Best place for children and family. The Australian Pioneer Village has a beautiful design with authentic shops and other buildings that have been moved here from their original sites around the historic Hawkesbury district. Just walk with your family and experience the past of the village life . The Volunteers are friendly and helpful. We with family and friends enjoyed the village with Hay ride and Train ride. Best monuments, must visit places.

This is a wonderfully heritage rich tourist destination, not only for visitors but also for locals. Take a step back in time as you explore the buildings and talk to the staff and volunteers who wear period costume. Entry fees are very reasonable, bring a picnic, cook up a BBQ or eat at one of the two eateries on site.

Worth the $5 entry. Fun and interesting place. Some of the volunteers could use some people skills but otherwise nice. Tea and scones were good value. Live music was a nice touch. Good way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday.
